				Sigma Alpha Iota, Peoria Alumnae Chapter
						Letter from the President
				Chapter activities are well underway as we move into fall. The alumnae met in August to affiliate two new members and begin planning the calendar for the new year. Congratulations to Pat French and Helen Ferguson who affiliated with our chapter. Thank you also to Helen for hosting us. We were able to wrap up the evening with a choral rehearsal. I am enclosing a copy of our tentative calendar so that you will have it handy and know our many upcoming events. All			the choral/recorder rehearsals will be at Shirley Cunningham’s home. Note also that Knox College is hosting State Day this year. This is the alternative to Province Day where the Gamma Province joins us for our festivities. We will discuss the events at our upcoming meeting. We will also be performing on November 20 at the Botanical Gardens in Peoria. If you are not performing with the chapter, you could also attend and give us	support J Hope to see everyone at our potluck! Linda Doerfler

									Big/Little Sisters
					Our next event is Monday, September 27 at 6:30 PM. We will be having our fall potluck with the Beta Gamma Chapter. We will be meeting on the 4^th floor of Constance Hall on Bradley’s campus. This is a potluck with the girls, so be sure to bring extra since the Beta Gamma chapter out numbers us! Table service and drinks will be provided. We will be meeting the girls, including their new Members in Training, discussing our upcoming events, including State Day,		having some fraternity education and practicing our singing for the November performance.
