I thought maybe spring
was here until I woke up to this morning! Brrrr. I am sure spring is out there
somewhere. The Rose Reception was
once again a huge success.
Unfortunately, I could not be there, but thanks to Bronwyn Parkin and Priscilla Wilkins for hosting. The Bradley chapter had a fantastic
number of prospective new members turn out to learn about SAI and Semenya McCord, our Province Officer was able to join
us as well. We have even more
activities coming up this spring.
The alumnae brunch is March 20, followed by the Senior Welcome and Daniella Janssen scholarship performers on May 1. The Beta Gamma chapter at
|
|
|
|
Bradley is hoping to
organize a Pampered Chef party as a fundraiser, so watch your emails and
mailbox for more information. The
alumnae chapter is starting to think about a spring performance of the
Chapter Recorder/Choral Ensemble. We
will be discussing rehearsal schedules and a performance time and location
at our March 20 brunch. If you cannot
attend the meeting on the 20th, please let Shirley Cunningham or
myself know if you would be willing to perform again this spring. For those of you have not heard, Betty
Jean Steinbach is in Proctor Hospital recovering from a
broken hip. She fell climbing the
stairs to the choir loft at her
church

about
10 days ago. She is in room 305 and
will probably be there a couple of weeks.
She is in good spirits and has had many visitors. However, I am sure she would appreciate
more.

Our next meeting will
be Saturday, March 20, 8:30 AM at Hanssen’s
LeBakery. Hanssen’s is located in the Metro Center, Peoria. Each member will be responsible for purchasing
her own breakfast and we will have a table reserved where we can
|
|
|
|
enjoy a little social
time mixed with some chapter business.
We need to discuss a spring Choral/Recorder performance, rehearsal
times and nominations for our upcoming officer elections. This meeting is really a lot of fun since
we spend most of
|
|
|
our time catching up with each other.
